Hey there, freshman!
Welcome to the best program: Amerinsa. Here, you’ll discover everything about Latin American culture and become part of a wonderful Amer community with international Latin American students (about two-thirds French-speaking adventurers versus one-third explorers from Latin America). This program is for anyone who wants to come learn Spanish or Portuguese and learn more about Latin American cultures. If you’re just looking to pursue a degree at INSA with a slightly stronger focus on languages and more literary subjects, this could be the opportunity for you too! For example, we don’t study business (a subject), but rather Latin American civilizations, which makes you a little less likely to want to take a nap.

There will also be department-specific events like the Weski (an exclusive ski weekend for Amers), a shout-out to Group 82, who always had us all in stitches (and to me, the best snowboard instructor), the Ameros (Amerinsa’s famous parties)—it’ll be the perfect time to have fun with your friends or meet the more seasoned adventurers known as the 2As.

Plus, at the end of your first year, you’ll have the chance to do your work placement in a country in Latin America (#soluck), an incredible experience that lets you do an internship while feeling a bit like you’re on vacation!
Finally, at Amerinsa, you’ll also find a great atmosphere and a strong sense of camaraderie, since there are only 3 classes and the 2A students are super cool.
